Would you like to support a local Mum in need for Mother's Day?

 
Mother's Day can be a tough time for many - from those experiencing homelessness or sleeping rough, to mums seeking respite from domestic violence, medical treatment or feeling isolated in aged care facilities. Sometimes, this holiday can be a harsh reminder that not every mother will wake up to breakfast in bed, or a piece of beautifully wrapped jewellery.
 
We are looking for community members to donate a hamper of essentials to Mums in need. Your contribution will be supporting women in homeless accommodation, cancer support services and those seeking respite from domestic violence. A little basket can go a long way!

Our mission:

 
Mother's Day Alliance was created with the mission to reach out to those who may be experiencing times of adversity, and create a sense of equality and belonging. The program aims to collect gift-styled hampers, donated by people of the general public, to be distributed to mothers and families who are in need of support on Mother's Day, 12th May 2019.
